Discovering How Much He Has Already Fulfilled
What if some of the most important truths in Scripture have been sitting in front of us all along, but we were never taught how they fit together?
ShareTheGospelForFree is a Christ-centered Bible study project designed to help Christians trace how Scripture fits together around Jesus Christ: from promise to fulfillment, from the Old Covenant to the New, from shadow to substance, and from the first pages of Scripture to Christ’s present reign and final victory.
What is a covenant? Are Christians still under the Old Covenant? Why did Jesus speak of a New Covenant in His blood? What did the Temple, priesthood, sacrifices, Israel, and kingdom point toward? How does the New Testament identify God’s chosen people under the New Covenant? Is Jesus reigning now? And did biblical prophecy foretell events that would unfold throughout Church history?
These are not merely questions for theologians. They shape how we understand Jesus, the Gospel, the Church, our identity as God’s people, and the Christian life itself.
The goal is not to give you another theological system to accept.
Open the Scriptures. Test what you have been taught. Follow where they lead.
Could We Be Missing Part of the Story?
Many believers can spend decades in church, hear hundreds of sermons, know familiar Bible stories and verses, and sincerely love Jesus, yet still never be shown how some of the largest themes in Scripture actually fit together.
We may know the Ten Commandments, yet never have been taught what the Old Covenant actually was, or even asked whether Christians are still under it.
We may regularly hear the words of Jesus: “This cup is the new covenant in My blood,” yet never stop to ask what a covenant is, what made the Old Covenant old, or what makes the New Covenant new. Why does Hebrews call the Old Covenant “obsolete” and describe the New Covenant as “better”? What does Scripture mean by that, and what does it change for Christians today?
We know that the veil of the Temple was torn when Jesus died, but have we considered everything that changed when the way into God’s presence was opened through Christ?
We know Jesus offered Himself as the sacrifice for sin, but why does Scripture also call Him our High Priest? Why are believers called a royal priesthood? Why does the New Testament describe God’s people as His Temple?
We read promises given to Israel, but have we carefully followed how Jesus and the apostles themselves interpret those promises? When Scripture speaks of God’s chosen people, Abraham’s seed, Israel, inheritance, and the promises, how does the New Testament bring those themes to their fulfillment in Christ?
We speak often about the Kingdom of God, but is the Kingdom still waiting to begin, or is Jesus already reigning as the promised King?
And when we study prophecy, do we look almost entirely toward the future, or did biblical prophecy also foretell events that would unfold throughout the long history of Christ’s Church?
These questions matter. They affect how we understand law and grace, worship, giving, the Church, Israel, prophecy, our relationship with God, and what it means to live as God’s people under the New Covenant.
How Much Has Jesus Already Fulfilled?
The studies on this site were designed to pursue that question carefully through Scripture.
The first five semesters establish foundational truths about Christ, covenant, Israel, the promises, God’s Law, the Temple, and the priesthood. Only after those foundations are established do the final two semesters turn to Daniel, eschatology, Church history, and Revelation.
The Seven-Semester Journey
1st SEMESTER
The Errors of Dispensationalism
Examine assumptions common within modern dispensational teaching and ask how well they agree with the way Jesus and the apostles interpret Scripture.
2nd SEMESTER
Who Is Israel?
How does the New Testament identify God’s chosen people under the New Covenant, and how does Jesus fulfill Israel’s story? This becomes foundational for understanding the promises, the Church, and prophecy.
3rd SEMESTER
Israel and the Promises
Who inherits the promises made to Abraham and Israel? Follow the promised Seed, inheritance, land, God’s chosen nation, and Paul’s declaration that “all Israel will be saved.”
4th SEMESTER
What Is God’s Law?
What was the Old Covenant, what happened to it, and how should followers of Jesus understand the Mosaic Law, the Ten Commandments, and obedience under the New Covenant?
5th SEMESTER
The New Covenant Temple and Priesthood
What happened to the Temple and priesthood when Christ came, and why does the New Testament call believers living stones, God’s Temple, and a royal priesthood?
6th SEMESTER
Daniel and Eschatological Issues
Daniel provides much of the prophetic language and historical framework that Revelation later develops. Trace the kingdoms, the Messiah, the covenant, prophetic time, and the Kingdom of God so that Revelation can be read in continuity with the earlier prophecy.
7th SEMESTER
Church History and the Traditional Protestant Interpretation of Revelation
Did biblical prophecy foretell events that would unfold throughout Church history? Examine Revelation alongside Daniel, Church history, and the older Traditional Protestant Interpretation held by generations of Protestants, a reading uniquely distinguished by centuries of interpreters identifying developments still future to their own generation and later seeing those expectations fulfilled with remarkable accuracy, providing striking historical validation for their interpretive framework.
The Foundation Comes First
The first five semesters are not simply preliminary material to hurry through on the way to prophecy.
Questions about covenant, Israel, the promises, God’s Law, the Temple, priesthood, and Christ’s Kingdom shape the way we eventually interpret Daniel and Revelation. If those foundational questions have never been carefully examined, it is very easy to carry assumptions into prophecy without realizing they are there.
The goal is not merely to develop a different view of the end times. The goal is to see Jesus Christ more clearly throughout all of Scripture.

Songs such as Open Our Eyes, From Shadow to Substance, The King of Israel, The Prayers of the Saints, and History Belongs to Jesus are intended to do more than provide Christian entertainment. They are an attempt to introduce substantial biblical truths that many Christians may never have been taught, in a form that can stir curiosity and lead listeners back to Scripture.
A song can only explore so much in a few minutes. The studies on this site allow us to slow down, open the Scriptures, ask the deeper questions, and examine the biblical foundation behind what the song is saying.

Where Do These Studies Fit?
These studies stand within historic orthodox Christianity and affirm the foundational truths of the Christian faith: the Triune God; Jesus Christ as fully God and fully man; His atoning death and bodily resurrection; salvation by grace through faith; His present reign; the indwelling work of the Holy Spirit; His future bodily return; the resurrection of the dead; final judgment; and the New Heavens and New Earth.
What distinguishes this approach is its consistent effort to place Jesus Christ and what He has already fulfilled at the center of Israel, covenant, Law, Temple, Kingdom, prophecy, and the entire biblical story.
The theological framework draws especially from New Covenant Theology, with substantial overlap with Progressive Covenantalism, and approaches prophecy through the older Traditional Protestant Interpretation.
By contrast, many American evangelical Christians have inherited a dispensational Futurist framework for understanding Israel, the Church, prophecy, and the end times. Other Christians have inherited forms of Covenant Theology.
These studies ask us not to assume beforehand that any theological system has answered every question correctly. The fuller Introduction explains these terms, the approach used throughout the studies, and what is meant here by seeking biblical balance.
No New Revelation
There is nothing new being revealed here. These studies do not claim to present a new Christianity, a secret interpretation, or some truth that was hidden from the Church until now. Any claim to genuinely new revelation beyond Scripture would be a major red flag.
Rather, this site brings together biblical teaching that has been known, discussed, and defended by Christians across many generations. Some of these truths were once much more widely understood, particularly among earlier Protestants, but are no longer commonly taught to many believers today.
Something can sound new to us simply because it was never taught to us. Unfamiliar does not mean new.
The goal here is not novelty, but recovery: to gather what earlier Christians understood, carefully test it against Scripture, retain what is biblical, and bring important Christ-centered truths back into view. Historical sources, commentaries, and theological writings can help us listen to the wider Christian witness, but they are never the final authority.

The Bereans were commended because they received the Word with readiness and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
That same invitation stands here.
Do not accept something merely because it is familiar.
Do not reject something merely because it is unfamiliar.
And do not accept something simply because it is written on this website.
Search the Scriptures. Compare Scripture with Scripture. Follow the evidence. Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ.
