Church History and the Misunderstood, Underrated “Traditional Interpretation” of Revelation

Bringing sanity back to fulfilled prophecy and undoing the damage caused by dispensational Futurism. These studies are built on the solid, traditional interpretation of Scripture, a reading repeatedly vindicated by history.

For cautious readers who are coming from a Futurist background:

If you were taught that dispensational premil Futurism is simply the “plain, literal reading” of prophecy, it might be best to begin with this study. It gently tests that assumption by showing that Revelation itself is communicated through signs and symbols, and that Scripture must be allowed to define its own prophetic language. You do not have to accept the Traditional Protestant Interpretation all at once. This study simply invites you to begin testing whether the older reading deserves a fair hearing.

Readers are strongly encouraged to first evaluate the preparatory Daniel Hermeneutic of Prophecy. You may also choose to read the orientation study, Why The Traditional Interpretation Declined and Why It Should Be Recovered, which explains why the once-dominant reading of Daniel and Revelation faded from modern awareness and why it should now be carefully recovered.

Because each study builds on the previous one, the series is best read from the beginning in order to fully grasp its significance.
